The various factors/reasons of trafficking from this area are a result of complex set of Gender discrimination, illiteracy, No sex education, violence against women, vulnerability and ignorance of girls is finally lack of opportunity.

Destination

There are various pull factors for destination are Jobs, Promise of marriage, Promise of a better life , Demand for domestic and sexual services , Demand for young girls and virgins and finally access to sex trade.

Transit

District administration as well as voluntary C.B.O / NGO are rescuing different victims, i.e. – women & children by trafficking which is required to provide shelter, counseling, legal, rehabilitative, services, through home based approach or transit home.

The organization has involved in rescue, shelter counseling and rehabilitation of women and children in need in the district since last 5 year.

We need support from various line department existing in the operational area own vehicle and sufficient funds for rehabilitation of the victim.

What measures/interventions do you suggest to effectively combat trafficking of women and girls in your area of operation ?

Proper implementation of the various developmental programme by involving the local community to activate the district level task force in this regard massive awareness generation programme in the in this issue. Proper implementation of ITPA .
